Happy Valentine's Day to All!

This is the time of year set aside for love and lovers.  We
show our expressions and emotions in giving our loved ones
gifts and special tokens of our feelings.

The greatest gift of love ever given to mankind has been
pushed to the side and seemingly forgotten.  Let's take
this time to remember God's greatest gift of love...JESUS!

The Forgotten Reason

There's a special day just once a year,
That started long ago.
No matter how it all began,
There's something you should know.

Some people say it all began,
To honor some saints good deeds,
Because so very long ago,
They helped those folks in need.

In England it was started,
When animals paired up in Spring.
And the day was there to signify,
The new life each would bring.

Still others say it has to do,
With the love between each couple.
They've lost the meaning of it all,
And therein lies the trouble.

You see, although they started it,
And spread it around the earth.
We've always had it here; you know,
Since the time of the first man's birth.

I say the facts are clearly there,
Since GOD made the very first man.
And gave him Eve for company,
That's how it all began.

They don't seem to realize,
HE's loved us from that day.
And to me that is the reason,
For every Valentine's Day.

It should be a day of thanks,
For we shouldn't forget to pray,
And thank HIM in HIS wisdom.
For loving us that way.
